    The Norfolk Exchange

Strengthening the links between schools and the workplace

In an increasingly skilled and competitive global marketplace Norfolk businesses need to be sure of getting the qualified young entrants they will need for the future.

    We work with Schools

to encourage them to develop their understanding of industry’s needs through classroom and business-based activities and to arrange Professional Development placements for school staff to develop their experience in the community, in industry and in business.

    We work with Businesses

to encourage them to get involved in a wide range of programmes in schools and the classroom so students get a first-hand insight into the varied opportunities in the world of work

   We manage and deliver:

the annual Work Experience Programme, which gives more than 9,000 young people each year a chance to spend time with a Norfolk Business.

Click here to see why it's a valuable programme for students and businesses

   We sponsor:

the Best Industry/Education Link category in the annual EDP (Eastern Daily Press) Business Awards.
