Tom set up The Exchange in 2001 and through it has developed partnerships with a very large number of businesses and organisations to help pupils learn skills for the workplace and also to support teachers in the classroom. He is currently introducing changes to the Company and expanding the staffing in readiness for a new range of qualifications, called Diplomas, that  commenced in schools and colleges in September 2008

 

Jan Roberts, Operations Manager

 

Jan joined The Exchange in November 2007 as the company was restructuring its work with schools and employers: "I am excited by the challenges that lie ahead, not least working with our schools and colleges as they prepare for the introduction of Diplomas in September 2008. Key businesses are responding well to the opportunities to work with teachers and students in shaping the skills of the future workforce."

Responsible for HR within the company, also runs the annual Fantasy Shares League and Stock Market Challenge. Regional co-ordinator for Make Your Mark Challenge

Robert is a Norfolk-based entrepreneur, speaker, trainer and writer also active in the local community. He believes passionately in social enterprise and in giving something back. He gives 10% of his time free to causes he believes in. He’s also a keen marathon runner.
