It’s never been more important for students to have the right skills for the ever-changing world of work. It can be difficult for teachers to keep up to date with the needs of business and industry when their working day is spent in the classroom. Now the pace of technological change in a challenging a global economy adds to the difficulty.
Our advisers are constantly in touch with businesses in the Norfolk community, working to encourage them to get more involved in Business and School activities in the classroom and in their workplaces. It can be anything from business volunteers helping with literacy and numeracy in primary schools, to acting as mentors, to day-long projects and challenges. Or businesses can invite students to spend time in their workplaces, so they can see for themselves what goes on. Our advisers are always on hand to support and guide schools and businesses in setting up and running activities and projects.
