The naked scientists

A group of physicists and researchers from Cambridge University who use radio, live lectures and the internet to strip science down to its bare essentials and make it more available to the general public. The site contains nearly 200 hours of science podcasts, over 60 experiments for people to do at home, over 100 science articles, a fact/fiction science quiz and much more

Learn about genetics

Genetic resources have been developed to improve knowledge and understanding of human genetics within schools. As one of the fastest growing areas of science, the Institute of Biology is seeking to encourage young people to consider careers as doctors, nurses, technicians and scientists. The resources support the curriculum and seek to stimulate a life-long interest in genetics through everyday contexts. They have been piloted and developed for use with KS2 – 6th Form. more
