An excellent four-day course led by RSC trainers providing teachers with the confidence and skills for teaching chemistry. 50% theory, 50% practical covering key concepts, how do develop understanding and address students' misconceptions, practical experiments and demonstrations, Health and Safety and raising awareness of career opportunities for students. Costs just £120 for the full four days thanks to sponsorship from GlaxoSmithKline. Information packs will start going out on June 16 for this one-day event that starts Enterprise Week on Monday, November 17. This national challenge aims to improve students' enterprise, communications and planning skills. Two categories for entries: 1. Secondary Schools KS4 students 2. Sixth form and FE colleges: AS, A level and college students Regional finals for the top 20 entries will be on Friday, November 28.
